Nikon D300 + 17-55 f/2.8 vs D700 + 24-70 f/2.8

The D700 + 24-70mm f/2.8 combo is truly a magnificent photography tool combination. I’ve been using this combo for a few weeks now, which I believe is enough to compare with my previous gear that I use quite often, the D300 + 17-55mm f/2.8 combo. Which I hope can help someone out there that want to upgrade their D300 to D700.

Originally this blog was created for me to put my photography portfolio, but I’ve decided to change it to be more casual blog. You’ll find post which will be much more casual, such as me blabbering about photography stuffs (like this post hehe), so for starter, I’m going to blabber about my new lens that I just acquired 2 days ago, and some test result from the lens.

Just got this Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED N!! lugging this lens with D700 for half day yesterday, I can confirm that it’s quite heavy, a bit heavier than my previous combo of D300 + Nikkor AF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 ED DX combo :)
